1st Week end Kite in Tenia with Seb Garat

A success!!!

On the 02-03 of January, has been organised the 1st «Week end Kite Deluxe» with Seb Garat.

A simple concept: Seb Garat invite you to spend 2 days and 1 night to Kite on «Ilot Tenia», a real paradise for water sports. Blue lagoon, hot water, trade wind between 15 and 20 knots, and much more to discover…

Places are limited at 8 riders for a friendly ambiance.

You come only with your Kite gear, and we take care of everything else.
Transfer by boat between Port Ouenghi and the Island, every meal (sandwich lunch, dinner and breakfast), the night of Saturday in the Surf Camp (at 500 meters from the Wharf) which is a wonderful wood house, overhanging the bay, with Pool and fantastic view for the Sunset!!!
As well you can test some of the 2010 RRD Kite gear, and we even take pictures of you all the week end! Exactly like being Hollywood stars!

The 1st Week end was windy and sunny and has been a real success for us and the 8 riders who came!

Pictures are better than words to describe this wonderful week end, so I let you appreciate those pictures from the Week end and the smile on every faces !

Antonio Egris (rider e negoziante RRD) si sta dando un gran daffare per promuovere un succoso evento che si disputerà nelle spettacolari acque di Stintino (Sardegna) durante le vacanze di Pasqua.

Le premesse sono davvero molto buone e noi vi terremo aggiornati sugli sviluppi...

per il momento il consiglio è quello di restare sintonizzati su queste pagine e magari buttate un occhio anche sul sito ufficiale della manifestazione per poter toccare meglio con mano cosa c'è in ballo..

Hi!
Really cold here in Sweden, so not that much windsurfing at the moment..
Have some great plans for the upcoming season, though!
I will be hosting a big clinic in Gran Canaria (middle of april, together with RRD Swedish distributor Surfers Paradise). And then I will do some stories for "nordic surfers mag." around the Nordic coastline. Then I will compete in all the Swedish wave competitions and finally I hope to be able to go to Peru in the autumn to make a fotostory (and hopefully test next years rrd products!).

I'll keep you updatet about that

I attached the last story I made (together with my friend and fotographer Bill Watts) for nordic surfers mag.

Sono a Bali da soli 10 gg e piano piano sto' mollando lo stress occidentale, la calma interiore e la disponibilita' di questo popolo spero mi contagi.
Serangan e' situata sulla turtle island ora collegata alla terra ferma. E' uno spot adatto a tutti i livelli e x questo un po' affollato quando la misura non e' significativa.
in compenso si fa amicizia con i local, che qui e solo qui non si arrabbiano se droppati, e con i vari stranieri presenti. i miei preferiti sono : le Russe!!!
P.S. i local sono voraci di onde come le formiche con il cibo, non lasciano nulla. Percio' preparatevi a conquistarvi la vostra fetta di gioia.

Introducing Rock-n-Rohwurst.de

A new German windsurf website with the illustrious name „Rock-n-Rohwurst" has been up and running for a couple of months already. Their founders Johannes Neumann and Mathias Genkel are part of the German RRD-Team. They both share a deep passion to the sport of windsurfing. With Johannes working as a professional media designer and Mathias travelling around a lot shooting photos and recording videos, their website offers some quality footage. Mathias is currently working in Southern France and sails on every opportunity, whereas Johannes is on a trip to Maui sailing some big waves and working on some new video projects. Check out their website for further photos and be prepared for more.
