John Skye: Morocco Wave Camp - Places still available

For the last couple of years we have run a Wave Camp in Morocco and
seem to have scored amazing conditions every time. Hopefully that will
continue this year and to be honest I cant wait to get out there
again. Its a great spot that suits most levels of wave sailor, from
those getting used to waves for the first time, right through to
Boujma style triple loopers! A few places have become available for
the 2nd week, which will run from the 29th May to the 5th June. So if
anyone fancies some top sailing, with plenty of like minded
wavesailors and some top tips thrown in too, check out the full

Almeria 2011 Wave-Slalom

Hello Surfers!
Rarely the wind and waves agree with the dates that you plan to
travel, but this time it does.
We have many photos posted on Face book and forums, about the waves in
"Genoveses" and the Spanish slalom championship at Almerimar and I
wanted to summarize my personal view.

LUCA MARCIS DOMINATES ON RRD K-RACE 65 AND ADDICTION MKII

Italian rider Luca Marcis dominates the first racing event of Italian
Kite Championship held in Ancona the 24 and 25 of april.
In conditions from light to medium wind Luca won 5 of the 6 races.

"I'm very happy of this victory, since I won the race title in Italy
last year and for me was very important to demonstrate I make the
right choice this year switching to RRD, so I want to thanks Roberto
for the opportunity he gives me to join the RRD Family and Team.
During the Race I felt alway fast, comfortable and in full control on
my K-Race 65 and Addiction MKII. I had the best upwind performances
and still a great speed on downwind course, so I can tell that still
the 4 short fins setup actually on our RRD K-Race 65 boards is the
best you can have on a race board! I can't wait to attend the second
event in Sardinia do double check the performance of my RRD racing
quiver!!!"

Luca Marcis ha dominato la prima tappa race del Campionato Italiano Kite svoltasi ad Ancona il 24-25 aprile. Ecco le dichiarazioni di Luca a fine gara:


"Sono davvero molto contento per questa vittoria, dal momento che si trattava del primo evento della stagione e avevo voglia di dimostrare che avevo fatto la scelta giusta passando ad RRD. Per questo colgo l'occasione per ringraziare Roberto di avermi dato l'opportunità di entrare a far parte della famiglia e del team RRD!
Durante tutto l'evento mi sono sempre sentito molto veloce, sempre a mio agio in ogni situazione e sempre con la situazione sotto controllo grazie al mio RRD K-Race 65 e Addiction MKII. 
Senza ombra di dubbio si tratta della tavola con le migliori prestazioni di bolina, ma estremamente performante anche al lasco e di poppa e posso garantire che al momento il set up con 4 pinne di piccole dimensioni è quello che garantisce la migliore performance complessiva. Non vedo l'ora che arrivi la seconda tappa ad Oristano per mettere di nuovo alla prova la mia attrezzatura race RRD!"

here the latest pictures of a smooth freestyle-session in Dranske /
Rügen in north germany. the afternoon with sunshine and for an hour we
had good conditions for 4,7.

LUKE McGillewe SKAT final report - 3rd Overall & First in wave!

Another update from SA!
We have finally had the final prize giving for SAKT (South African
Kiteboarding Tour) after a long season with 5 stop's brand changes and
a lot of new equipment, I pulled a 3rd place overall, 3rd for
freestyle and 3rd for race..good results.
There was a 45 point diffrence between 3rd and 2nd..
I would just really like to thank Roberto for taking me on board! The
equipment has yet to fail me its only been good!
I have to say there isn't any better combinaion than the 16m addiction
and the K-race 45 my racing has improved from not placeing to 3rd!
Good news is I am still the SA wave champ!
I look forward to hit a couple of PKRA events! see you on the water!
By the way we have 5m swell with 25knot exiting times
