After a morning tested the water and their equipment to make the right choice of boards and sails, is at 13:44 that the departure was given. With 17 knots of wind in the sail felt along the way, Antoine Albeau which will loop the course first in 1h13min and 40 sec. It is followed by Cyril Moussilmani (1h17min and 50 sec) and Julien Quentel (1h22m). The French Connection took over the race from the start.
Note that the buoy by a so soft a big catamaran was felt by all riders.

The day is off here in Guadeloupe. Today, the wind direction was not good to organize the race between the The Martinique and Guadeloupe. The organization Decided to launch a race from Beach to St. Francois Marie Galante's 24 nautical miles.
The rider was on the beach early this morning and tested the lagoon and with DECIDED Which gear they will do the race.

At the jibe, the wind died completely. Are following the podium Kevin Pritchard (1h34m & 20 sec), Ross Williams (1h34min & 49 sec), Peter Volwater (1h34min & 50 sec) & Josh Angulo (1h41min & 55 sec).
This first race allowed the riders to discover the Caribbean wind and was a good training for the Race Guadeloupe - Martinique.

La journée se termine ici en Guadeloupe. L’orientation du vent ne permettant pas de rejoindre la Martinique une course au large de 24 miles nautique a été organisée. Les 7 coureurs chauffés à bloc et à peine arrivés de paris ou Maui étaient dès 9h sur le spot de St François.
Après une matinée a testé le plan d’eau ainsi que leur matériel afin de faire le bon choix de planches et voiles, c’est à 13h44 que le départ est donné. Avec un vent de 17 nœuds ressentit dans la voile le long du parcours, c’est Antoine Albeau qui bouclera le parcours en premier en 1h13min et 40 sec. Il est suivi de Cyril Moussilmani (1h17min et 50 sec) et Julien Quentel (1h22m). La french Connection a pris le dessus sur la course dès le départ.
A noter qu’à la bouée matérialisée par un catamaran une grosse molle a été ressentit par l’ensemble des coureurs.
