Kiteracing & kitewave camp Vietnam 2012

I invite you to watch a short video summarizing the first week of our Polish Kite-Race and Kite-Wave Camp in Vietnam...

So far, We do more kite-wave, due to the conditions on our spot - at low wind speed are formed here excellent waves for practicing this variety of kitesurfing.
In the meantime, We persuaded one of the best Polish freestylers Mark Rowiński Jr. to tried his skils at kiteracing together with another rookie Mirek. We organized especially for them, the mini regatta, and
the amazingly well-advised guys, won the Mark and the same confirmed his talent not just for freestyle.

January 23 we were able to welcome Chinese New Year (year of the dragon), according to the lunar calendar. We went specifically for these occasions to the nearby bigger town Pan Thiet. There were
fireworks, dances, concerts, generally a great festival. It was worth to see how people in this part of the world celebrate the New Year's Eve.

We planned to start in the KTA competition, here in Mui Ne 15-19.02 ,  but it turned out that there will not be kiterace discipline .... then we go back earlier….

To the end of our trip just a few days left, but now kiteracing & kitewave camp can be considered very successful sport and socially. Maybe this is not a perfect place to practice kiterace (because of many fishers nets and shortbreak), but already we are planning to return here next year with kitewave boards!!!

We collected a lot of photo and video materials, so as only we recovery after trip and accustomed to the europe time zone, we will assembly movie documenting our sport activity and lifestyle here and
write more extensive relationship.

Listopadowy K-Race traning

We are preparing for the last regatta of the season in Poland, trained yesterday(Dominic Glogier and Tomek Janiak) at " the Little Sea" (Hel Penissula).

As for the end of the season (2nd half of October) is very warm, which allows us such trainings.

As an interesting statistic by reading from a handheld monitoring device:

Distance: 28.5 km

Time: 1.25 h

Average speed: 20 km / h

Max Speed​​: 48 km / h

The average pulse: 130 beats / min

Max pulse: 158 beats / min

On Saturday - the end of the season regatta. Keep your fingers crossed for the weather!
Ps. I have a feeling that this is not last time on the water, because there is no winter on the horizon!
