Ireland report

RRD had a fantastic event at the Ireland BWA competition. Katie
McAnena won her first event ever using her Wave Twin 74 to good effect
in the small but rippable waves. In the Ameteurs Adam Simms sailed
brilliantly to come through the double elimination and take the win
after beating the tour leader 2 times. In the masters, Scottish legend
and RRD rider Davey Edminson took 2nd place, even though he had to
leave the event early to get back to work. I had to settle for 2nd
place in the pro division after a terrible final. Up until the last 30
seconds I was in last place but managed to find a wave in the dying
seconds and just about do enough to get into second. Obviously it
would have been good to win, but at least 2nd puts me in a good
position to go for the title again this year.

So overall two 1st places and two 2nd places is a great result for the
RRD team.

Check out the shots of everyone ripping.
