Sick board!!

La gara di Cabo Verde è iniziata ed è già stato completato il tabellone della Single Elimination. Per la cronaca, ha vinto il solito strepitoso Kauli Seadi davanti al solito enorme Josh Angulo, che ha preceduto il solito concretissimo Kevin Pritchard. Le vere sorprese di questo tabellone sono stati il quarto posto di Francisco Goya al suo ritorno alle competizioni ufficiali, e il quinto posto del quindicenne Kai Lenny che ha davvero tutti i numeri per diventare un vero fenomeno. Sul fronte RRD, Yann Sorlut è arrivato ai quarti di finale eliminando Thomas Traversa, mentre John Skye è uscito al primo turno complice anche il piede che gli rende dolorosissima la ricezione dagli aerial. Però se non altro la tavola gli è piaciuta da impazzire...

Just wanted to let Aurelio know that the board was working sic!! I will try to get you a picture tomorrow. Didn't have too many waves on it, but the volume felt good, it turned really nice and just felt nice to sail.
Unfortunately the contest went terribly. On my second wave I had a nice aerial, but when I landed I had so much pain in my foot I could hardly continue. It sucks because the conditions were nice, the board was perfect, but I just couldn't really sail to my full ability. Maybe I can do better in the double elimination, but the foot is still really painful in the footstrap, so I have to take it a bit easy.... very frustrating.
Ok.. sorry to let you guys down. Lets see for tomorrow.....
