Tine in Chile again

Yes, I am in Chile again! After quite some time at home I collected the new 2010 Challenger wave sails and the new RRD WaveTwin Ltd V2 90l. I packed all the gear in the new RRD Equipment Bags, that are just amazing to travel with, since they really made them perfect!

Before knowing I was already in the middle of Atlantic thinking about the unbelievable waves that I will ride. And here I am sitting on a terrace of the small Yutty hostel looking at the waves and waiting for wind to come back. Yesterday we had the first surf session in the morning and a nice windsurfing session in Llico with Bash 5.7, that really has a lot of power.

Last sunday I was training slalom in a nice spot: Cabo de Palos.

It was a sunny and warm day, too much for a winter day even for the south of Spain although perfect for blasting till dusk.

RRD team rider NDFly is travellinf from pretty much time on Deep Asian South East.
We lost his tracks from a while,
but now he mailed us that he's driving in a new Philippine's Island, searching for new incredible wave spots...

His RRD van seems ready to catch some action...
More news have to come as soon as he will catch some internet connection...

il viaggio nelle Filippine è cominciato da dieci giorni...
3 settimane sono andate per la ricerca della macchina (foto allegata), le carte e la preparazione del mezzo...

Ho già esplorato una nuova isola al centro Filippine e ho trovato 2 super spots per fare kite...
Ora sono appena sbarcato in un'altra isola, e tra due giorni partirà la spedizione sulla costa est... per ora ho già individduato qui uno spot bellissimo!!!

Per ora quindi tutto procede bene...
Entro un mese dovrò essere a Palawan (estremo sud delle Filippine) a lavorare per una nuova scuola...
Ovviamente RRD gear!

Appena trovo un posto con buna connessione mando foto!!!

1° kitesurf trip Sardinia Kitemovement

Antonio Egris sent us a short report about the first Kitesurf Trip in Sardinia of his Sardinia Kite Movement.
They moved from Sardinia North shore to the West Shore, on the worldWide known spot of Capo Mannu.
Pretty light wind, but still a lot of Action!

SKM - Sardinia Kite Movement concepita e diretta da Antonio Egris, Andrea Merella e Fabrizio Marchesi, è partita con la scuola itinerante sulla coste sarde di kitesurf che ingloba nei programmi anche la conoscenza del territorio, la cultura, il folklore e la cucina tipica della Sardegna ... un idea di vacanza breve con trasferimento, attivita' e relax, low cost per chi ha voglia di imparare, progredire in kitesurf o semplicemente stare in compagnia per praticare degli watersports staccando per alcuni giorni la spina.

Il trip si è svolto nel golfo di Oristano con pochisimo vento ma il programma è stato pienamente rispettato, soddisfatti i partecipanti che hanno giudicato a pieni voti l'organizzazione !

Si ringrazia RRD per i materiali, AE surf Point, l'agriturismo a San Giovanni di Sinis di Giandomenico, Roberto Fadda e lo staff della pizzeria per la collaborazione

1° Kitesurf Trip asd Sardinia Kite Movement 20-22 novembre 2009

Venerdi' 20 novembre 2009 ore 18.00: partenza da Valledoria, arrivo a San Giovanni di Sinis e sistemazione in agriturismo, cena tipica.

Sabato 21 : colazione, visita al sito archeologico di Tharros, meeting al primo spot adiacente alla torre per dimostrazioni e spiegazioni materiali kitesurf RRD 2010, inizio lezioni per i beginner, freesurf per i PRO, pranzo al sacco. Visita al secondo spot Capo Mannu e uscita in mare e lezioni nella spiaggia di Putzu Idu, rientro alla base e cena in Pizzeria Fadda a Oristano, visita alla citta' di Oristano, rientro in agriturismo.

Domenica 22: colazione, meeting in spiaggia a Torre Grande per lezioni ai beginner, prove libere con i SUP RRD messi a disposizione da AE SURF POINT e stage di wakeboard con Roberto Fadda (atleta RRD), pranzo al sacco, freetime for yourself....e rientro a casa al tramonto.

Hola Surfers!

Dissabte 21 Novembre. No sé si dir que els Francesos tenen molta sort amb el vent o dir que nosaltres tenim sort que ho tenim a una hora i mitja de cotxe... lo cert és que una previ no molt forta de sud en terres franceses sempre és vent i per 4,7m màxim 5,2m a Canet-St Cipriane. A Mes la orientació era bona, no el típic Sud-Est de mar si no, de sud per surfejar frontside.

Tot no va ser perfecte perquè durant molta estona els que anàvem amb 4,7m teníem que navegar a dins per falta de vent a l'onada... però varem surfejar bé quan hi arribava.

Hola Surfistas!

Sábado 21 Noviembre. No sé si decir que los Franceses tienen mucha suerte con el viento o que nosotros tenemos suerte de estar a tan solo una hora y media de sus playas... el caso es que una previsión regular de sur, en Francia se materializa con viento para 4,7 o 5,2m máximo. Ademas el sur es orientación optima para surf frontside en Canet-St Cipriane.

No todo fue perfecto porque algunos bajones en la orilla nos mantuvieron navegando adentro... pero cuando llegaba las surfeadas eran buenas.

RRD action edit

I uploaded on my personal YouTube account my favorite video edit from last RRD Maui Action Shooting. This is a great video filmed and edited from Jace Panebianco, and in my opinion it's a perfect example of RRD Family philosophy applied to our great team of RRD riders...

This video was edited to be shown during our Importers meeting June 2009 in Tarifa... that's the reason of it's name...
