Quelques news de Geoffrey Mascarell en direct de la Namibie où se déroule depuis le 1er novembre le Luderitz speed challenge :

” On a pu courir le premier jour dans 25/30 noeuds, pas top comme conditions, ça m’a permis de me familiariser avec le spot. Les ailes vont bien, je fais mon meilleur run à 40 noeuds et finis 6ième au général pour l’instant. Le vent fort devrait arriver d’ici la semaine prochaine.

Je vous tiens au courant de l’évolution. Le bonjour à tout le monde…Bye Byeeeee ! “

After a couple of weeks out of the water, finally Omar is again in shape and playing again whith his new toys, hope you feel excited like me watching the photos.

In the other side (kiteboarding I mean ;-) we are in the good way to celebrate next year August one PKRA event here, I'll keep you informed...

Seb Garat chez Triple-C

Seb Garat came to shop Triple C in Dunkerque having just grabbed a new title of Freestyle French Champion.
Conditions were not the best: no wind at all, completely flat water and some fog too, so Seb goes to have a paddle and a wake session with a twelve of young riders came there just to go on the water together with the Campion.
At 6 p.m. everybody was on the shop to take some pictures with Seb and for a signing session as well! Many riders from Dunkerque attend the last French Championship, so it was a good opportunity to share the experience of a championship together!
Seb for top performances level and a few young riders from Dunkerque for the “party side” .... everyone will remember!

C'est avec un nouveau titre de CHAMPION DE FRANCE que Seb Garat est arrivé au shop Triple C de Dunkerque.
C'est une bonne douzaine de jeune riders qui attendent Seb pour une sortie Paddle et wake board sur une mer complètement flat et avec une brume, ce qui donne une ambiance surréaliste.
18h00 le shop affiche complet, Seb se prête agréablement au jeu des dédicaces et photos. Beaucoup de Dunkerquois couraient au championnat de France et c'est l'occasion de partager l'expérience d'un championnat en commun. Seb pour le coté sportif et quelques jeunes riders Dunkerquois pour le coté plus festif ....tout le monde s'en souviendra .

Stefano Lorioli CIWS Tour Champion!

RRD Team rider and Freestyler Stefanino Lorioli was crowned CIWS (Circuito Italiano Windsurf Freestyle) Tour Champion just this week end in Coluccia (North Sardinia) at the end of CIWF Coluccia Finals.

Unfortunately wind was too light to compete and Stefano was not allowed to show his great freestyle skill in his homespot, but still he deserved this title due to his display of top results during the whole season!

Congratulazioni da parte di tutta la RRD Family a Stefanino Lorioli,

che nel corso dello scorso fine settimana è stato proclamato Campione del Tour AIWS.

Purtroppo il vento leggero non ha permesso di disputare le finalissime a Coluccia e Stefanino non ha potuto dare sfoggio nel proprio homespot di suo repertorio freestyle,

ma i risultati sempre al top snocciolati nel corso della stagione agonistica sono stati sufficienti a fargli meritare la vittoria del suo primo titolo italiano Freestyle.

I just got back from the final event of the year and won both the event and the UK WAVESAILING TITLE!

Really happy because its been a really good year. 4 events, lots of different conditions and a good number of competitors doing all the events. The last event had the single elimination in cross offshore port tack and the double elimination in Starboard tack cross shore...
Pretty perfect really.
