I just received my boards and I tried immediately the 68 in Wissant and it was crazy !
I love it !

The conditions wasn't extraordinary but I have some good pics !

Tomorrow I start the promotion to my entry in the international RRD

Sylvain wins a Jump session in Normandie

RRD International Team rider Sylvain Demercastel won an amazing first place in the ION JUMP SESSION in NORMANDIE. WELL DONE SYLVAIN!!

Lors de la jump session, les riders se sont affrontés par heats de 4 en 2 x10 minutes, pour placer le meillleur high jump, la meilleure manoeuvre, et décrocher le prix du wipe out le plus spectaculaire !!!

Un niveau d'ensemble impressionant avec des forwards, table top et backloop balancés dans tous les sens, alors que certains découvrent la difficulté de naviguer dans un heat : "évidemment, le seul back loop que je pose c'est quand le heat est fini !!!", et une super ambiance sur l'eau et sur la plage où les supporters essayent d'influencer les juges par tous les moyens !!!

Les meilleurs jumpers (best move) de chaque heat et les 2 meilleurs "high jumper" sont qualifiés pour la super finale de 20 minutes : Regis Bouron, Hervé Guillermin, Sylvain Demercastel, Ben Leconte, Mathieu Raimon, Pierre Adrien et Marc Antoine Esnault sont les 7 qualifiés qui sortent des premiers heats !

La finale est une grosse envoyade, un vrai feu d'artifice de jumps !!une petite vidéo est en préparation !

Bringing home a result in a contest is the idea behind this board. The work has to be done, and the board has to make you forget what you have under you feet. It becomes an extension of your legs and everything boils down to looking for the best tracks on the wave. You read the wave and the board will get there. Instant reactions. Plenty of acceleration and grip. The board Abel Lago is riding and has developed to use in the PKRA wave tour.

RRD France Dealers Meeting - Day 1

First official day at RRD France dealers meeting. Focus on Kiteboarding.
Roberto himself introduced to the dealers the new 2012 kiteboarding range. Lots of new cool toys!

And after the official presentation, the wind starts blowing, so everybody goes on the water to have a test session... everything perfect today!

John Skye @ Tiree

Since Sylt I have been on the road almost non stop, including a quick trip to RRD HQ in Italy. However now I am on Tiree and even better yesterday I won the double elimination! The single didn't go too well and I lost out in the quarter finals to Ben and Timo. Ben went on to win, but thankfully we managed to run the double. Its one of the toughest fleets I think we have ever had in Tiree and to get through the double I had to beat pretty much everyone. Jamie Hancock, James Cox, Phil, Timo, Bubble, Andy King, and then Ben. In total it was 8 heats and by the end I was so tired, but obviously very happy.
Unfortunately its not over yet as today there is more wind and we are trying a new Triple elimination format! At least in the worst case I only have to sail 2 heats!

This year the Pescado comes only in one size the 5’9”. Not a common fish board, a real fish board for surfing on a kite. All the shapes are based on the previous version. Slightly revised in all details, all the new salerosas are slightly thinner in max thickness and have a slightly thinner nose profile thickness. Some of the concave in the tail area has been reduced in order to maximize tail flex and improve a “direct” contact feeling with your backfoot.

Report La Baule From French RRD Team!

Last Week The French RRD Team composed of Seb Garat in Freestyle and

Julien Kerneur in Racing (who recently signed with RRD to get the best

racing gear !) was in "La Baule" for a friendly Kite Event.

Unfortunately, the wind didn't blow over 8-10 knots during the whole
event, but it was sunny, and Julien Proved that the Addiction with the
new K-Race goes upwind with almost no wind !

Watch Out the first pics from the Team, having fun on the beach ! Not
much action sorry !

And Congrats to Julien who took the 1st place in Racing !
